THE local government of Magalang in Pampanga has reported another Covid-19 death, this time involving a 79-year-old man.
The patient, with code name M864, was from Barangay San Idefonso, Magalang.
The Municipal Health Office also reported four new recoveries.
The municipality now has 58 active Covid-19 cases, said the local health office.
The local government unit has recorded a total of 883 cases of Covid-19 since the start of the pandemic.
Mayor Romy Pecson reiterated his appeal to the residents to always follow the minimum health standards set by the Department of Health to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
