TWO persons, including a tattoo artist, were arrested in anti-drug operations in Zamboanga Sibugay province and Zamboanga City, the police reported Sunday, July 4, 2021.
Police Major Shellamie Chang, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula information officer, identified the arrested suspects as the following: Daryl Soque, 31; and John Glenn Lito, 34.
Chang said Roque, a tattoo artist, was arrested in an anti-drug operation around 8 a.m. Saturday at a pension house in Purok Orchids, Poblacion village, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay.
She said recovered from Roque were some P6,514 worth of suspected shabu, a motorcycle, a cellular phone and P500 marked money.
Chang said Lito was arrested in a buy-bust operation around 7:45 p.m. Saturday in Sitio Pasay, San Roque village, Zamboanga City.
She said seized from Lito were some P4,760 worth of suspected shabu and P200 marked money consisting of two P100 bills.
Chang said appropriate charges will be filed against the suspects, who were detained. (SunStar Zamboanga)
