Lizada: Really?

RECENTLY, I read an article that really made me laugh because of its absurdity. The article was believe it or not about what things you cannot touch in someone else’s home. You read it right. The topic by itself is ridiculous but nowadays, stupidity is no longer what it was before. I mean there are shows that show dangerous acts and they have a disclaimer that you should never try this at home. Only an idiot would ever think of doing something that could harm them. But then again, stupidity is not what it was before. Today it can be anything. But back to the article. Accordingly, here are a few things you should never touch in another person’s home.

The door. Yup, the door. Before you scratch your head figuring this out, here is the explanation. Of course you can touch the door once you are allowed to enter. See how that stupid that sounds? It presumes that even without permission you could just barge into someone’s home. That is called trespassing but nowadays trespassing is like stupidity.

Two. The bedroom. Now hold on. What moron would enter another person’s home and go inside the bedroom? Well probably entitled people whose concept of worth is their ability to do whatever they wish. In our time we would never ever think about entering the bedroom of another person. But like stupidity......

Three. The refrigerator and cupboards. Really? This is not your home but you would freely open the ref and the cupboards? That is not only bad manners but utter disrespect. But disrespect has another word today. Stupidity. Also cupboards? I mean really? You would scrounge and open cupboards to look for what? Food that is not yours? Snacks? You want a snack? Buy your own.

Four. Drawers and cabinets. Do we really have to mention these self-evident things? Are not these glaringly obvious. Ah not in today’s generation I guess. Everything has to be spelled out because stealing things nowadays could mean sharing.

Four. Workspace, bills. My my. Not only are you spying but know you are delving into what is obviously none of your business. But redundancy seems to be the recurring theme of this article so what is none of your business can be interpreted as this is my business too because it affects my survival or whatever some people call it nowadays.

And finally. The WiFi. Now not only are you stealing I mean sharing material things but now you have to go virtual?

Centuries ago, people who took things were hung. Nowadays they are just plain stupid.
