3,222 Covid deaths in Central Luzon, 129,326 confirmed infections

THE total number of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) deaths in Pampanga since the start of the pandemic in 2020 has reached 3,222 cases, according to data from the Department of Health (DOH) in Central Luzon.

This, as the total number of confirmed infections has also reached 129,326 with 378 new cases recorded on Tuesday, July 6, alone.

The total number of deaths represents 2.5 percent of total cases recorded by the DOH.

Of the total number of confirmed cases, some 3.25 percent or 4,209 are still active. Some 1.57 percent of these or 66 cases are currently asymptomatic, while 94.37 percent or 3972 cases display mild symptoms.

Some 83 cases are with moderate symptoms, while another 67 are severe with the remaining 21 in critical condition.

The DOH said that some 121,895 cases from the total recorded confirmed cases have already recovered.

Bulacan province tops the list with the most number of confirmed cases at 50,714 recorded cases followed by Pampanga with 24,784.
