"VERY bad things will happen and I do not see you being ready; prepare yourselves with due seriousness in order to be able to reach the Father’s house, where all is ready. The new Jerusalem is near and I want you to be in the front row with joy, love and serenity."
This was the message of the Blessed Virgin Mary as conveyed to mystic Gisella Cardia last July 3. As usual, it was a message meant for us all. It's a message meant for conversion, not necessarily to trigger fear.
The urgency of our times are reflected in the explosion of Marian apparitions nowadays and in the recent decades. Some of them are unknown to most Christians but should not be dismissed outright even by the only few who stumble upon them.
Take, for example, what has been happening in the so-called tri-state of Kentucky, Indiana and Ohio in the US where some are now devotees of "Our Lady of Light," a title of the Blessed Virgin Mary herself revealed in her apparitions to five mothers in various areas in the three states starting in the early 1990s.
In Cold Spring, Kentucky near the border with Ohio, people first reported seeing orbs and flashes of lights outside the church of St. Joseph.
In a field in Batavia, Indiana, the Blessed Mother, identifying herself as "The Lady of Light," finally appeared to the five mothers while they prayed the rosary together.
The apparitions continued for years, with the Blessed Mother giving the visionaries, often only one of the five mothers, some messages for all of us.
World-renowned Catholic author Michael Brown shared some of the messages in his spiritdaily.com website. In 1994, the Blessed Mother reportedly said as follows:
“These times of testing are hard on God’s people, especially His priests. Know that you are not alone in your trials. I am with you as I was with the first Apostles. Pray for each other and help each other to a better understanding of God’s truths.”
Another message said: “My priests are now his targets to keep them from doing their work. All of my faithful souls are being attacked by Satan at this time, but he will be going with a vengeance after my ambassadors of this land.”
Earlier in 1993, one message said: “Be at peace. Know that I requested that you arise at night to pray and to study the scriptures in order that I might lead you into holiness. You sanctify your spirit by sacrificing your time for God. Arising from your sleep for even a short time to pray is a pleasing sacrifice to the Father.
“You cannot walk the path of holiness and still cling to the ways of the world. In your prayers, you should release your worldly problems to the Father. Just as your body needs daily bread, your soul needs spiritual nourishment which only the Father can provide.
“To receive and retain this spiritual food, you must make your heart a pure vessel, for if the vessel is not pure, the contents will tarnish....Study the Holy Scriptures and make each day a day of prayer... I will be with you and will continue to lead and teach you.”
“I invite you this day to reflect on the days of your life. This time given you on earth is a gift from the Father and it passes by very swiftly.
“All the earthly possessions that you have come to treasure even more than the love of your Heavenly Father shall pass away in time...Remember, my children, only what you do for God will last into eternity. Review your time spent every day. Is it for God or for you?” (End of quote.)
Meanwhile, St. Michael the Archangel again gave mystic Luz de Maria de Bonilla another message last July 3. The message is significant and seems to reflect many events now happening in various parts of the world. Here are excerpts:
"...The unity of the people of God is essential at this time, more so than at other times, given the acceptance in the Church of all that is pagan, with these forms of modernism distorting the true magisterium in exchange for shamefully profane acts. Be true, be people who do not accept modernism, be lovers of the Divine Blood of Our King and Lord Jesus Christ, knowing that you should not be afraid of anything, because you are protected by my heavenly legions. You must pray with your heart.
"You must pray for your conversion and that of your brothers and sisters so that they might come out of the darkness in which they are living. There are so many whited sepulchers going from failure to failure, due to their own 'ego' that prevents them from doing good! So many spend their days without stopping to meditate on what they will experience during the Warning being disobedient and not having decided to restructure their lives towards the good! There are so many whited sepulchers – overbearing, demanding, basking in their own glory, looking at their own selves!
" People of Our King and Lord Jesus Christ, the Earth is being strongly shaken; you should keep provisions of what is specifically necessary for survival – not only your personal survival and that of your family, but that of your brothers and sisters...
"At the same time, store what is possible for each one of you. The purification of humanity is continuing. Great events will come due to water, wind, volcanoes, and so much else produced by man himself. Hunger will spread in the nations. The sun will continue sending its effects to the Earth, which will cause humanity to regress.
"The prayer of the Holy Rosary is important: Our Queen and Mother listens to those who pray it with the heart.
"People of God, pray about the unforeseen and devastating effects of nature on Earth.
"People of God, pray that awareness of this crucial moment would grow among the children of God.
"People of God, pray: France will suffer. The United States, Indonesia, Costa Rica, Colombia and Bolivia will be strongly shaken.
"People of God, pray: the Church will accept innovations. Our King and Lord Jesus Christ is bleeding, Our Queen weeps.
"People of God, you will look at the firmament and in amazement you will cry out the Name of God, Three in One...
"Adore, make reparation, love God, Three in One; be faithful, without hiding the faith that you profess.
"Our Queen and Mother carries you in Her Heart. Our King and Lord Jesus Christ has your names written in His Heart with His Divine Blood. Receive peace, blessings."
