A TOTAL of 64,184 persons in Bacolod City were already vaccinated with the Sinovac and AstraZeneca vaccines against the coronavirus disease (Covid-19).
Emergency Operations Center (EOC) records showed that from March 5 to July 9, 2021, EOC-Task Force and the Covid-19 Vaccination Council (CoVaC) already inoculated a total of 64,184 individuals who belonged to priority groups A1 to A3.
Of the number, 12,177 persons already received their second doses of Sinovac and AstraZeneca vaccines.
In the same period, CoVac had administered a total of 78,361 doses of vaccines. Of the number, 22,057 doses were AstraZeneca vaccines and 56,304 doses were Sinovac vaccines.
CoVac will continue the vaccine rollout today in the areas of the City Health Office that covers Barangays 20 and 23, Barangays Felisa, Estefania, Mandalagan, and Tangub, Ayala Malls Capitol Center, and SMX Convention Center.
On Thursday, the vaccine rollout will be in the areas of Barangay Alijis, Bata, Punta Taytay, Singcang-Airport, Sum-ag, Villamonte, Vista Alegre, and Taculing, Ayala Malls Capitol Central, and SMX Convention Center.
The vaccines being rolled out this week are part of the 10, 000 doses of Sinovac vaccines from the national government that the city received last July 6.
The vaccines will be administered to the healthcare workers (A1), senior citizens (A2), and persons with comorbidities (A3) eligible priority groups who have yet to receive Covid-19 vaccine jabs.
The City will accommodate only those who have completed their vaccination registration and have received a call or text from the Emergency Operations Center of their confirmed appointments.
