Cops plant more trees

PERSONNEL of Police Regional Office (PRO)-Central Luzon continued to do their share in addressing global warming and climate change by planting more trees.

More than 100 cops joined hands in planting some 500 fruit and non-fruit bearing trees in a protected area in Barangay Ayala, Magalang town recently.

The activity was part of the Philippine National Police's Kaligkasan program, which aims is to plant more trees to save and protet the environment.

"The activity upholds the significance of the PNP core value ‘makakalikasan’ and will continuously empower its personnel in preserving and protecting our environment," said PRO-Central Luzon Director Brigadier General Valeriano De Leon.
