PRESIDENT Rodrigo Duterte has declared July 20, 2021, Tuesday, a regular holiday in the country in observance of Eid’l Adha or Feast of Sacrifice, one of the two greatest feasts of Islam.
This announcement came upon the recommendation of the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos.
In Proclamation 1189 signed on July 15, 2021, the Malacañang stated that the observance of Eid’l Adha is subject to existing community quarantine and social distancing measures.
