ANOTHER set of Fernandino microentrepreneurs were awarded with subsidy by the local government of San Fernando, through the locally-funded “Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay” (NSB) program of the City Investment Promotion Office (Cipo).

For this three-day edition of NSB, which kicked off on July 15, 2021, a total of 100 Fernandinos from different barangays will be receiving a subsidy for their products’ raw materials.

The beneficiaries were into delicacies, food, and non-food businesses.

Apart from the funding, the beneficiaries were also given a business seminar by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)-Pampanga.

The topics on entrepreneurial mindset, manufacturing, marketing strategies, product development, among others, were discussed.

After this edition, the Cipo will get 250 new beneficiaries for the NSB, which will cover different microenterprises from all barangays.

For details and inquiries, the Cipo, located at the ground floor of Heroes Hall in San Juan, is open to accommodate registrants from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., or it can also be reached by leaving a message on their Facebook page using this link:

The NSB, a brainchild of DTI and adopted by the City Government, is an economic recovery program that helps microentrepreneurs build or nourish their businesses back after the negative effects of Covid-19 pandemic. (PR)
