SHOWCASING the best of Filipino talent and design, the Filipino Fashion Fair held at Ayala Center Cebu highlighted pieces made by local designers and artisans.

Organized by the Philippine Fashion Coalition as part of its “Dama Ko, Lahi Ko” campaign that aims to promote and celebrate Filipino culture through the five senses, the Cebu leg puts its spotlight on Cebu as a Unesco “Creative City of Design.”

Masks by Dino Lloren. To easily match any outfit, Dino Lloren’s masks feature a classy look to make them perfect to wear on formal occasions or casual settings.

Quincentennial Fan by Philip Rodriguez. To mark the 500th anniversary of the arrival of Christianity in the Philippines and Victory at Mactan, Philip Rodriguez has designed a limited edition souvenir and accessory hand fan with designs depicting notable moments in history.

Statement earrings from Tina Campos Creations Jewelry.The eye-catching pieces created by designer Tina Campos exude elegance and femininity. Campos also creates custom-made necklaces, bracelets as well as earrings made of shells, beads and precious stones.

Clutch bags by Virtucio.Stylish, eco-friendly and proudly handcrafted, Virtucio’s brightly colored bags and necklaces are made of single-use grocery bags and other disposed plastics that are cut to pieces, pressed then melted to achieve a mosaic-like effect, which is then finished off with brass framing.
