All set for Friday, the 23rd, is a free webinar on Faith, Hope & Healing as part of the celebration of the 50th charter anniversary of the Rotary Club of Mandaue headed by its president, Arsenio Mata. Speakers are Pastor Ron delos Santos, president and chief executive officer of Safehaven Addiction Treatment and Recovery Village, and Dr. Maria Leore Ygot, Fellow of the Phil. Psychiatric Association and the Phil. College of Addiction, who will tackle the topics of “Life Second Chance: Try Again or Give Up? This Way or That Way?” and “Coping with Pandemic Depression and Anxiety,” respectively.

The 3,000 square feet satellite complementing store is located at the lower ground floor of the mall. It offers a unique concept and will soon be showcasing long awaited new models such as the all-new Land Cruiser 300 and the GR Yaris. However, the company’s priority is to push the sales for Philippine-manufactured vehicles like the Vios and Innova to help generate jobs for Filipinos.

“A new blessing to Cordova,” so says Mayor Maria Therese Sitoy of Smart’s donation of connectivity devices such as Smart Bro LTE pocket WiFi and 5G SIM cards to the Cordova Boat Owners and Tour Operators to help revive tourism. She finds this partnership with Smart timely because a fast connectivity in the area, especially while in the middle of the sea, is a big help to open and promote tourism, more so during this pandemic.

On the part of Smart, vice president/department head Melvin Nubla gave assurance of the company’s continuing support to the municipality of Cordova to help jumpstart its tourism industry, a vital source of livelihood of Cordovahanons.
