Over 66,000 Bacolodnons inoculated

A TOTAL of 66,012 persons in Bacolod City were already vaccinated with the Sinovac and AstraZeneca vaccines against the coronavirus disease (Covid-19).

Emergency Operations Center (EOC) records showed that from March 5 to July 18, 2021, EOC-Task Force and the Covid-19 Vaccination Council (CoVaC) already inoculated a total of 66,012 individuals who belonged to priority groups A1 to A3.

Of the number, 22,477 persons already received their second doses of Sinovac and AstraZeneca vaccines.

In the same period, CoVac had administered a total of 88,489 doses of vaccines. Of the number, 22,605 doses were AstraZeneca vaccines and 65,884 doses were Sinovac vaccines.

On July 19, the City Government of Bacolod received 51,040 doses of Covid-19 vaccines.

The city received an initial 18,700 doses of AstraZeneca vaccines, which are part of the 650,000 doses procured by the city, Johnson & Johnson - 30,000 doses, and Pfizer - 2,340 doses.

The vaccines were brought immediately to the cold room facility at the Bacolod Government Center.

CoVac will continue the vaccine rollout Wednesday, July 21, in the areas of Barangays Cabug, Taculing, Ayala Malls Capitol Central, and SMX Convention Center.

On Thursday, July 22, the vaccine rollout will be in the areas of Barangays Taculing, Mansilingan, ETCS, Ayala Malls Capitol Central, and SMX Convention Center.

On the following day, July 23, it will be in Barangays Villamonte, Banago, Mansilingan, Ayala Malls Capitol Central, and SMX Convention Center.

On July 24, it will be in Ayala Malls Capitol Central, and Robinsons Place Bacolod.

The City will accommodate only those who have completed their vaccination registration and have received a call or text from the Emergency Operations Center of their confirmed appointments.

To avail themselves of the free vaccination, Bacolod residents should register online through the link tinyurl.com/bcdceironline or go personally to their respective barangay halls.
