LEGAL ug awtorisado ang pagpirma ni City Administrator Floro Casas Jr. sa higayon nga dili makapirma si Mayor Edgardo Labella sa mga transaksyon sa Cebu City Government.
Si Casas, gitudlo ni Labella sa posisyon, gitugotan nga makapirma pinaagi sa resolusyon sa City Council niadtong Hulyo 9, 2019.
Si Labella, sa iyang bahin, niisyu og memorandum ngadto sa iyang City Administrator nga makapirma sa mga voucher, payroll, purchase request ug uban pa.
“To delegate and grant authority to Atty. Floro Casas Jr., to sign document vouchers, payroll, purchase requests and such other documents relates thereto,” tipik sa resolution no. 15-0039-2019 nga gipirmahan ni Vice Mayor Michael Rama isip presiding officer.
Si Casas nagkanayon nga way specific nga balaud o patakaran nga nagdili sa mayor sa pag-delegate sa trabaho ngadto sa iyang City Administrator pagpirma sa mga dokumento.
Matod ni Casas, kini ang gihimo sa ubang local government units aron di mahurot ang oras sa mayor sa pagpirma sa mga dokumento.
“So, wala intawon ta magbuotbuot. even with this delegated authority, constant ang atong communication & coordination with the Mayor’s Office to ensure that the mayor is always abreast of whats happening sa syuadad,” padayag ni Casas.
