THE Criminal Investigation and Detection Group 7 retrieved footage from the closed-circuit television (CCTV) of various establishments located near the spot where radio blocktimer Reynante “Rey” Cortes was killed.
According to Police Colonel Ireneo Dalogdog, CIDG 7 chief, they retrieved one-week worth of CCTV footage up until the time Cortes was walking up the building stairs of the dyRB radio station for his commentary program, “Engkwentro (Encounter).”
The radio station is located near the flyover in Barangay Mambaling, Cebu City.
