115,602 residents in Cagayan de Oro vaccinated

A TOTAL of 115,602 individuals in Cagayan de Oro have received their doses of Covid-19 vaccines as of July 23, 2021.

Of the 115,602 vaccinated Kagay-anons, 74,730 got their first dose of the vaccines while 40,872 were fully vaccinated.

According to the data presented by Cagayan de Oro City Mayor Oscar Moreno during the daily press briefing at the city hall, among the 115,602 vaccinees, 21,107 were frontline health care workers, 43,558 were senior citizens, 41,894 were persons with comorbidities, and 9,043 were essential frontline workers.

Meanwhile, the total number of vaccinated Covid-positive individuals in Cagayan de Oro was now at 1,281, city epidemiologist Dr. Joselito Retuya reported.

According to Retuya, of the 1,281 vaccinees, 845 were vaccinated with the Sinovac vaccine, 299 were vaccinated with AstraZeneca, 99 with Pfizer, 35 with Sputnik V, and three with Sinopharm.

Of the 845 Covid-positive Sinovac vaccinees, 657 individuals experienced mild symptoms, 157 were asymptomatic, 57 were moderate cases, and four were severe cases.

Among the 299 AstraZeneca vaccinees, 203 individuals had mild symptoms, 71 were asymptomatic, 24 had moderate symptoms, and one was a severe case.

Of the 99 Pfizer vaccinees, 74 individuals had mild symptoms, 18 were asymptomatic, and seven were moderate cases.

Among the 35 Sputnik V vaccinees, 28 had mild symptoms, five were asymptomatic, and two were moderate cases.

And of the three Sinopharm vaccinees, two had mild symptoms and one was asymptomatic.

Of the 1,281 total vaccinated confirmed Covid-positive individuals, 605 were fully vaccinated.
