The Victorias City Alliance of Tricycle Owners and Drivers Association (VCATODA) received recently financial from Javier " Javi" Benitez.

The assistance was extended to members who were direly hit by the pandemic so they may be able to start alternative livelihood activities.

Benitez of Asenso Victorias met with the Association officers and turned over the P 200,000.00 financial aid for the group of tricycle owners and drivers of Victorias City.

“The transport sector in Victorias is one of the most affected during the pandemic,” Javi Benitez said.

Since the Covid-19 pandemic started more than a year ago, the drivers shared that there are fewer passengers, and their daily income have been greatly affected. There was a time when they could not go out to ply their routes because restrictions and health protocol guidelines limited the number of passengers for every trip.

As the VCATODA thanked the young Benitez for his assistance, they said the aid will go a long way in helping the members jumpstart viable livelihood projects. (TDE)
