OVER 80 policemen assigned at the Talipapa, Novaliches Police Station have gone into isolation after testing positive for Sars-CoV-2, which causes coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19).

Among these policemen were those deployed during the State of the Nation Address of President Rodrigo Duterte on July 26, 2021, Quezon City Police Director Antonio Yarra said.

Yarra said 184 police personnel assigned at the Talipapa, Novaliches Police Station underwent RT-PCR testing on July 23, 2021 as part of regular screening.

“Sila ngayon ay nasa quarantine facilities na at ‘yung the rest na nag negative ay nag-oobserve ng self-isolation sa office sa kanilang places of assignment at advise na mag-observe sa kanilang sarili for possible symptoms,” said Yarra.
