HOMEGROWN real estate developer Taft Properties has topped off the second tower of its Symfoni Nichol’s brand The Bossa Tower on Friday, July 30, 2021.
Myra Lynn Gilig, vice president and chief operating officer of Taft Properties, said the construction was way ahead of schedule despite the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
“We’re happy about it and we are very lucky because our contractor Vineyard Construction didn’t have problems with Covid-19 so we were still able to really finish ahead of schedule,” Gilig said.
Symfoni Bossa includes a 12-floor residential tower with 645 all studio units. The project is already 70 percent sold. It is located in Nichols Park Subdivision, Nichols Heights, Barangay Guadalupe, Cebu City.
The Symfoni is the Taft Properties’ brand that falls under its cozy spaces category.
“These are the mid-rise buildings where normally, the price-point is targeted towards the mid-market segment,” Gilig said.
Bossa is Taft Properties’ second tower in Cebu under the brand Symfoni.
Bossa is described to be “a landmark for a convenient city living which takes its principle design concept from the architectural character of the first tower Alto.”
Symfoni features a swimming pool, gazebo, function hall and other amenities.
Following the robust sales take-up, Gilig said they have plans to build a third Symfoni building.
“The cozy spaces are normally not right smack in the city center so you will find them in Guadalupe, not really in the center but we’d like to have one in Mactan or in Mandaue perhaps. There are several options,” she said.
Meanwhile, in terms of fighting off the pandemic, Gilig said all employees of Taft Properties are fully vaccinated while there is an ongoing vaccination for sellers, maintenance staff and others.
Regular disinfection is also practiced every week aside from the minimum health protocols being implemented in their showrooms and other offices.
Taft Properties is the property development arm of the Gaisano family’s Vicsal Development Corp., the company behind the Metro Gaisano chain of stores.
Taft’s portfolio includes premium residential communities in and out of Cebu such as the Horizons 101, Soltana Nature Residences, the Symfoni series of condominiums in Cebu and Manila, Cera at Citation and Citation Residences in Laguna and East Gate at Cebu Business Park.
