Millions ni Diaz di kuhaa'g tax

GIKLARO sa Bureau of Internal Revenue nga ang milyunes nga dawatunong pahalipay ni Tokyo Olympic gold medalist Hidilyn Diaz dili kuhaan og tax.

“The P10 million cash incentive mandated under Republic Act No. 10699, shall be considered an exclusion from gross income by virtue of Section 32 (B)(7)(d) of the Tax Code,” opisyal nga pamahayag sa BIR nga napatik sa Spin.ph.

“The donations given to her by businesses, private individuals, and entities shall also be excluded from the computation of her gross income under Section 32 (B)(3) of the Tax Code.”

Sa kasamtangan, moabot na og P40 million ang insentibo nga dawatunon ni Hidilyn sa iyang makasaysayong pagtunol sa labing unang Olympic gold medal sa Pilipinas.

Wala pa’y labot niini ang ubang mga kabtangan sama sa luhong condominium unit nga nagbalor og P14 million nga gihatag sa Megaworld.

“We congratulate Hidilyn Diaz and the Philippine team, and we hope for the best for the Filipino athletes still in the running to earn their spot at the Olympic podium,” dugang pamahayag sa BIR. (ESL)
