MORE than P80,000 worth of shabu was seized by members of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Negros Occidental Provincial Office and San Carlos City Police Station during a joint buy-bust operation on July 29, 2021, in Barangay 5, San Carlos City.
The drug sting operation resulted in the dismantling of a drug den and arrests of Nico Allera, who is the alleged drug den maintainer, Jhayben Sates, Allan Juanito, Junil Camingao, Allan Jake Cañete, Wilner Patatag and James Dionaldo.
A minor was also rescued by the operatives during the drug bust.
Confiscated evidence includes sachets of suspected shabu weighing more or less 12 grams, with a standard value of Php81,600, foil strips with shabu residue, improvised glass tooters and scoops, scissors, a clipper, several pieces of rolled tin foils, disposable lighters, and buy-bust money.

Charges for violation of Sections 5, 6, 7, 11 and 12, Art II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were prepared for filing in court against the suspects, PDEA said.
