THE total number of people who have recovered from coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in Cagayan de Oro has reached 10,375 after 102 city residents were tagged as "recovered."
The City Health Office has also recorded 139 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the cumulative number of confirmed infections to 12,614.
Of the 139 new local cases, 74 were local index cases, 37 were close contacts of previously confirmed cases, 15 were local authorized persons outside residence (Apors), six Apors with link, and seven mortalities.
Cagayan de Oro logged 1,687 active cases, 530 of whom were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, and 1,157 were outpatients.
Meanwhile, the total number of coronavirus-positive vaccinated individuals in Cagayan de Oro was now at 1,570, city epidemiologist Dr. Joselito Retuya reported.
According to Retuya, of the 1,570 vaccinees, 1,030 were vaccinated with Sinovac vaccine, 342 were vaccinated with AstraZeneca, 114 with Pfizer, 77 with Sputnik V, three with Sinopharm, and four with Janssen.
Of the 1,030 Covid-positive Sinovac vaccinees, 772 individuals were experiencing mild symptoms, 181 were asymptomatic, 72 were moderate cases, and five were severe cases.
Among the 342 AstraZeneca vaccinees, 234 individuals had mild symptoms, 79 were asymptomatic, 27 had moderate symptoms, and two were severe cases.
