REAL estate tycoon Dr. Andrew Tan is giving the country’s first silver medalist in the women’s Olympics boxing featherweight division, Nesthy Petecio, a P10-million residential condominium unit in One Lakeshore Drive inside the 11.2-hectare Davao Park District in Lanang, Davao City.
The gift, which is a fully-furnished unit, will be in a live-work-play township community highlighted by a grand park and lake right at the heart of Davao City, which is just a little over an hour away from Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur, the hometown of the Filipina boxer.
The township will have commercial and retail hubs, office towers, school, and a state-of-the-art hospital.
“We are very proud of this huge accomplishment of Nesthy Petecio. Her silver medal in the Olympics is a historic one because this women’s featherweight division of boxing debuts only in this Tokyo Olympics, and she is the first silver medalist in the category. Rightfully, she deserves the reward from our chairman, Dr. Andrew L. Tan, for the pride she gives to the Filipino nation,” said lawyer Harrison Paltongan, president of Suntrust Properties Inc.
One Lakeshore Drive was recognized as “highly commended” for the Best Residential Development in Davao during the 2016 Philippines Property Awards.
