Santa Rita senior high students get financial assistance

SOME 402 senior high school students received P2,500 each from the Provincial Government of Pampanga as part of the latter’s commitment to help students from various sectors of the community amid the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

The distribution was led by Second District Board Member Fritzie David- Dizon and Guagua Vice Mayor Sajid Eusoof, as they visited various schools in Santa Rita town on Monday, August 1.

Mayor Ferdinand Salalila also thanked the Provincial Government for its commitment to help students of the town.

The beneficiaries of the educational assistance are currently Grade 12 students.

The local officials turned over the cash assistance to 73 students of San Basilio High School, 286 students of Becuran High School and 43 students from Ambrocio S. Simpao Educational Trade Center of Learning in Barangay San Agustin.

Officers from the Provincial Library and Provincial Treasurer’s Office of the Capitol also helped in the distribution.
