San Luis LGU raffles off first cow reward

THE first ever winner of the "Baka Para Sa Bakuna" program of the local government of San Luis was announced during the raffle draw held on August 1 at the municipal hall and streamed live on the local government's official Facebook page.

Melania Sarmiento of Barangay Sta. Catalina, San Luis became the lucky winner of a live cow after her name was picked among the hundreds of vaccinated residents who qualified for the program.

Sarmiento, through a Facebook post, expressed gratitude to the local government and the reward sponsor for the blessing she received.

The "Baka Para sa Bakuna" is a program launched by the local government of San Luis to incentivize residents who got vaccinated against Covid-19 and also encourage others to get jabbed.

Under the program, the local government, through the support of its private sector partners, is set to raffle off more live cows every end of month until December of this year.
