West Jones Residences by Vibo Land reaches top

VIBO Land, the real estate development arm of the Vibo Group of Companies, officially topped off West Jones Residences on July 30, 2021.

West Jones Residences, Vibo Land’s maiden residential project, is a 16-storey property that sits on 1,238 square meters of prime real estate space. Known for developing properties that are strategically situated, it makes perfect sense for Vibo Land to choose a name that is location-driven. Consistent with its sister property Axis Entertainment Avenue which is positioned at the center of Vibo’s Escario Street property, West Jones Residences takes its name from a major Cebu City thoroughfare previously called Jones Avenue (presently Osmeña Boulevard), the iconic street that links the old downtown district with the modern uptown area. Since the property is located along Uytengsu Street which lies toward the west side of the thoroughfare as it approaches the uptown area, the directional reference “West” is added.

This modern high-rise building houses a total of 307 living spaces, spread across 15 floors. Each residential unit measures 22 square meters (studio) to 41.45 square meters (one-bedroom). Both unit types are designed with the value of space and storage capability in mind. West Jones is also home to amenities that complement the fast pace of city living. It has the following notable features, perfect for students, young professionals and small families looking to balance functionality with leisure:

• Swimming pools for adults and kids located on the roof deck, offering expansive and

relaxing views of the city’s skyline and overlooking the Cebu-Cordova Link Expressway

• An amenity lounge

• A fitness gym

• Function rooms

• A prayer room

• Individual mail cabinets

• Balconies on the 14th and 15th floors

To ensure the safety, convenience and peace of mind of its residents, the condominium

is also equipped with the following:

• 24-hour security

• CCTV cameras in common areas

• Fire detection and alarm system

• Automatic standby generator system

• Two-passenger elevator

• Two levels of parking

With its location, building features and amenities that strike the right balance between work and play, West Jones Residences is every millennial’s dream. It beckons to those who seek the lifestyle upgrade at a special address; where old meets new, where the comfort of familiarity converges with the challenge of bold beginnings; where a sense of history is celebrated and the prospect of new possibilities is created.

“The address itself creates a solid value proposition for both homeowners and investors,” shares Vibo Group marketing head Allen Andre Suarez. “The location of West Jones Residences certainly makes for an iconic spot in the metro, and is the perfect link between the historic downtown district and the modern uptown area of Cebu City.”

With the property’s unit values showing a robust appreciation of up to 35 percent in the last four years, Vibo Land is optimistic that West Jones remains a stable and sound investment

amid a pandemic.

“We are grateful to be part of an industry that continues to thrive even with the challenges posed by a global health crisis, and we remain hopeful about the industry’s growth in the next few years. Real estate is one of those sectors that can still offer rewarding returns for those who seek safe investment opportunities,” says Suarez.

Vibo Land’s target turnover for the units of West Jones Residences is the first half of 2022. In addition to this, Vibo Land is pleased to announce that its next development is in the pipeline: The Curve on Ramos Street, which is set to break ground early next year. SPONSORED CONTENT
