Mabalacat City launches radio broadcast program

THE local government unit of Mabalacat City, Pampanga, through its City Information Office, successfully launched its new radio show entitled "Tatak MCG: Bayung Mabalacat" on RW95.1FM.

The program is anchored by Mabalacat's city information officer Jay Pelayo IV together with Alvin Dasal and Amir Morales.

In its pilot episode, Pelayo interviewed Mabalacat City Mayor Crisostomo Garbo via phone patch.

Garbo reiterated the strict measures to control the spread of the delta variant of the coronavirus.

The mayor also shared his strategy on the mobilization of the city's vaccination program.

During the interview, he asked his constituents to come to him personally if there are some concerns involving the city.

"Nariyan lang po ako sa city hall, madalas po alas sais ng umaga nariyan na po ako," Garbo added.

He also encouraged netizens from his city to approach him personally instead of posting various concerns on social media.

"Puntahan ninyo ako at ako mismo ang sasagot sa inyo. Hindi kayo sasagutin ng social media pero ako kaya ko kayong kausapin," Garbo added.

The radio program of Mabalacat City is aired Tuesdays at 10 a.m. and is cross-posted realtime on the Mabalacat City News Facebook page.
