THE Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has canceled all licensure examinations scheduled in Davao City for the entire month of August this year.
In a Facebook post, PRC-Davao City announced the cancelation of seven professional licensure examinations due to the rising cases of Covid-19 and other logistical concerns.
Among the affected licensure exam are Licensure Examination for Veterinarians (August 4-6), Mining Engineers Licensure Examination (August 9-11), Licensure Examination for Mechanical Engineers and Certified Plant Mechanics (August 15-16), Medical Technologists Licensure Examination (August 21-22), Social Workers Licensure Examination (August 24-26), and Licensure Examination for Architects (August 27 and 29).
PRC, however, designated an additional testing center in Koronadal City instead of rescheduling the examinations and canceling the schedule originally in the city.
The PRC said all affected examinees who will take the licensure examinations for veterinarians, mining engineers, mechanical engineers, certified plant mechanics, medical technologists, social workers, and architects are given the option to transfer their examination venue from PRC-Davao to PRC-Koronadal by sending a request to PRC Davao at ro11@prc.gov.ph.
“Those who will not be able to transfer or take the said August 2021 Licensure Examinations may take the next succeeding examination without forfeiture of the examination fees,” the statement said.
