Over P686,000 shabu seized in Bacolod

AN ESTIMATED P686,800 worth of shabu was seized in separate drug bust operations of Regional Special Operations Group (RSOG) and Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) in Bacolod City over the weekend.

The operation also led to the arrest of Allan Sadia, 32, of Purok Paghidaet, Barangay 29; Johnny Gonzaga, 54, of Purok Ylac, Barangay 1; and Enrique Fuentebaja, 35, of Gardenville Subdivision, Barangay Tangub.

Police Major Sherlock Gabana, spokesperson of BCPO, said Sadia and Gonzaga were arrested by operatives of RSOG and Police Station 2 after they sold a sachet of shabu to a police undercover in Purok Riverside, Zone 3, Barangay Banago, around 6:20 p.m. Saturday.

Police recovered from the suspects’ possession 11 sachets of shabu weighing 100 grams with an estimated market value of P680,000, the P1,000 marked money, P1,100 boodle money, and drug paraphernalia.

Fuentebaja was also arrested by operatives of Police Station 8 at Gardenville Subdivision around 8 p.m. Saturday.

Police recovered from Fuentebaja’s possession three sachets of shabu weighing one gram with an estimated market value of P6,800 and the P200 marked money.

The suspects were detained at the custodial facility of Police Stations 2 and 8.

They are facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
