Goho: Vagueness of truth

I CAN imagine how difficult it must be to stand up for truth and go against one's natural programming of maintaining cordial relations with the different groups in society. Absolute truth in our world has become highly bleak and watered down and there is a slippery slope of becoming lost in an unusual path.

Time will come when it might be essential to step out of the usual comfort zone in engaging in substantive dialogue regardless of uncomfortable disagreements and intense clashes. But perhaps one must discern each party's motive and intent in embarking on such discourse. At times, there could be an ulterior agenda besides learning or letting the truth stand on its own which simply leads to unnecessary and pointless exchanges.

It may be petty and cumbersome to enter into subjective and insistent dialogue to no avail. Evidentially, it is an utmost given the opinions among individuals will vary depending on one's values, beliefs, and convictions. However, a willingness to speak one's mind objectively is critical in arriving at new levels of discovery and knowledge.

The world is noisy and filled with mistruths and disinformations, there is a high prevalence for us to become intensely misguided and yolked. Several con artists and false experts lurk among us, and uncertainty and bleakness are widespread. We are vastly limited in our understanding and intelligence that lead us to lose any sense of proper discernment since many influencing factors and biases such as culture, environment,t and inner circles impact us which cannot be avoided.

In the end, subjectivities might still prevail, biases can still overrule, other agendas can still emerge, but it is still ideal to let truth prevail from a reasonable and intelligible faith regardless if we fall short in various aspects. Essentially, objectivity should triumph.
