Central Luzon high-value crop program gets high-performance rating

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- The High Value Crop Development Program (HVCDP) of the Department of Agriculture Central Luzon received an overall rating of 97.07 percent and was awarded as the Highest Performing Region for FY 2021 First Semester.

This was announced during the FY 2021 1st Semester Assessment conducted by the National High Value Crops Development Program on August 2-4, 2021 via Cisco Webex.

The activity aims to assess the performances of different attached agencies and regional field offices (RFOs) under the program in terms of Physical and Financial Accomplishments for the Regular Programs and Bayanihan II.

The constraints encountered by the operating units especially during this time of Covid-19 pandemic were raised and addressed during the assessment for the smooth implementation of projects, activities, and programs.

To conclude the activity, the top-performing regions in terms of physical and financial accomplishments of which 25 percent for the Obligation (BED1), 25 percent for the Disbursement (BED3) and 50 percent for the Physical (BED2) over the first semester targets were awarded.
