TWO most wanted persons and 74 other law offenders were arrested across Eastern Visayas towns from August 17 to 18, 2021, the police regional command said Thursday, August 19.
Authorities apprehended Felicisimo Parco Jr., who is listed as Top 3 most wanted (regional level) from Abuyog, Leyte, for five counts of rape, and Michael Aballar, who is known as Top 4 most wanted (municipal level) from Tunga, Leyte, for illegal possession of explosive.
The other 76 arrests included other wanted persons, illegal drugs, illegal fishing, illegal gambling, and illegal logging.
According to the police, the estimated worth of confiscated items from buy-bust, illegal logging and fishing operations was P134,990.
The arrested persons and confiscated items were brought to their respective police stations for proper booking procedure. (SunStar Philippines)
