Santos Land is going up

No other option but up - this is the key message of the second quarter virtual awarding of Santos Land Development Corporation (SLDC) to its sales and marketing force.

The homegrown developer pulled off a successful recognition and thanksgiving event anew as it continued to commit to give importance to its sales executives, managers, and directors being the essential partners in providing quality houses and spaces to its growing clients. The event was broadcasted live on Facebook with thousands of views last July 29.

In her opening speech, SLDC chairman of the board Nora Morada praised the force behind their sales team as they remain competitive and hard working to deliver beyond what is expected of them.

“We are proud that even with the chaos and fear brought about by the pandemic, the energetic and courageous sales and marketing team have given us an impressive results. You never cease to amaze me and your directors, each one of you deserves a pat in the back,” she said.

Every quarter, SLDC has been staging a fun, and full of prizes and surprises event to show gratitude to all its sales partners for doing a great job.

Apart from giving plaques and recognition to the people who hit their quota and registered high sales, the virtual celebration was also filled with raffle prizes of load, cash, appliances. The event was also made more special as they were serenaded by Davao’s trending band Korde and entertained by beatboxer and Asia’s Got Talent’s Neil Llanes.

In his virtual message, SLDC president Antonio Nicolas S. Domingo expressed joy for being able to gather the people who helped them realize the vision of the company. He said their outstanding performances give them reason to keep going despite the hard blow of the pandemic to the real estate industry.

“I don’t know what you are doing right now in terms of how you sell our products but I assume it is really hard meeting your clients virtually and not face to face most of the time. But somehow we were able to adapt with this. That is how we live today and hope we will be able to survive and next year things will become better,” he said.

Domingo admitted that they are slowing down in expanding their business operations but committed to deliver their promises to the market like the Ivory Residences Condominium in J.P. Laurel Avenue, Davao City.

“I’ll see to it that our condo will be completed hopefully this year. We have gathered many contractors and everybody is working hard to finish it,” he said.

He added that he is confident that agents will be proud to sell the units as it is made of quality and is a standout from the market because of its impressive features and amenities.

“On housing, we are trying to continue to improve the quality of our products in terms of design, structure, and quality materials. That is something that you can expect next year as we move forward. We hope we can be able to achieve more in the coming months and years together,” Domingo said.

Meanwhile, SLDC marketing manager Estela Aguilos has shared exciting plans ahead of the company. One of the things Dabawenyos should watch out for from SLDC is its newest residential project - Laureana Grand Plains in Libby Road Puan, Davao City.

SLDC, she said, is targeting to formally launch it within the third quarter of this year and selling will commence in the last quarter of 2021.

“We will also roll out in the third quarter, an enhanced in-house financing wherein the interest rates are much lower and the terms are much longer,” Aguilos said.

One of the most successful partners of SLDC during the second quarter is Filipino Homes founder Anthony Leuterio from Leuterio Realty and Brokerage. He logged around P33.3 million in sales from April to June.

“In Filipino Homes, we always believe in the values of Santos Land - commitment, resilience, excellence, and attitude of excellence. These are the reasons why we excel, we always think of your vision which is establishing a homegrown builder of innovative and sustainable homes. We are always here to continue our services to help our Filipino people who are looking for homes,” he emphasized.

Santos Land is proof that pandemic or not, there is always something to be grateful for and that blessings will continue to pour if we invest our dedication and hard word towards one common goal.

The partnership also of SLDC with its sales force is a testament that going up is not possible if all people involved do their part and work closely together.

“We are very happy and grateful that hindi niyo iniwanan ang (you did not leave) SLDC. You guys are really worth celebrating!” Aguilos said. (ASP)
