Will former Miss Universe-Philippines 2014 MJ Lastimosa be a regular host of Eat Bulaga?

FORMER Miss Universe-Philippines 2014 MJ Lastimosa on her Eat Bulaga stint: "The best! Even more fun than the kind of fun I expected. Sobrang sarap kasama ng buong Eat Bulaga! family—from hosts down to the staff and crew."

MJ's guest hosting in Eat Bulaga! stuns netizens. Some say that the former beauty queen possesses wit and kikay personality which totally fits with the regular hosts of the said noontime variety show.

After watching live Rabiya Mateo during her Miss Universe competition held in Hollywood on May 16, 2021, she flew back to the Philippines and guested in Eat Bulaga as a celebrity player in "Bawal Judgemental" and the rest is history.

“I just got back from a long vacation in the US after watching Miss Universe, they invited me to play for 'Bawal Judgmental,'' narrates MJ.

"And after the taping, they asked if I’m willing to be a guest host for a week. Of course, it’s a yes, it’s definitely a dream of mine."

“I have an unexpected closeness with the EB hosts. I thought maa-out of place ako. After a few days, I felt like a part of the family na agad.

“We have to stay-in kasi if we will be working for a few days, then we have to lock-in. But it also helps na ma-familiarize ko rin yung work.”

What is her reaction now that her Eat Bulaga posts are trending on social media?

“Hahaha! Frend!!!! Dazerve, chos!”

What are her learnings from her guesting?

“Nahahasa yung quickness to think on your feet kasi hindi naman lahat nakasulat sa teleprompter and, at the same time, how to connect to the guest players and co-hosts.

“Sobrang grateful ako and truly blessed that I still get to work in these trying times. I’m kind of introvert so laging I need to adjust sa mga tao na hindi ko ka-close.

"Pero dati pa naman, kapag mga kaibigan ko na, I’m always kalog and funny and, I guess, inilabas ‘yon for me on TV ng Eat Bulaga.”

At 20, Mavy Legaspi bought his own dream car.

Mavy revealed that he bought himself a Mercedez-Benz car.

"There's this Benz car that I was eyeing forever since I was 16. So nakuha ko siya and natupad yung dream na yun.

"So when I bought it, umiyak ako actually."

"I guess it's a... when I entered 20, I was really looking for that. I think it's just a, you know... So far, no regrets. I really love driving, just not at this time. Guys, I'm not going out."

The Kapuso talent and his twin sister Cassy turned 20 last January 6, 2021.

"I think that was the gift na sinabi ko for the first time na I want to give myself something.

"So my parents were asking for the longest time, 'What do you want for your 20th birthday?'

"And ang sabi ko, 'Basta, ako bahala, ako bahala... I need this, give me this chance.' So ayun."

Mavy admitted that his mom Carmina Villaroel initially did not allow him and Cassy to drive.

But the I Left My Heart in Sorsogon actor was determined to buy his own car and even turned "rebellious" when he finally decided on achieving this goal.

"Funny story nga, it was... my mom doesn't want me to drive talaga.

"She's super ma-safety e. So when I got that car, sabi niya, 'Well, I guess, I have no choice but to let you drive kasi sayang.'

"So it was kind of a rebellious move that I made na bumili ng kotse because I know she doesn't want me driving but, 'I'm a grown-up, mom.'"
