NBI orders probe into viral Mandaue road rage

THE National Bureau of Investigation (NBI)-Central Visayas has ordered an investigation on the road altercation between a bread delivery guy and a biker who claimed to be an NBI employee.

The incident, caught on video, happened around 8 a.m. Sunday, August 22, along AS Fortuna Street in Mandaue City.

The person who uploaded the video (real name withheld for security purposes) said in a Facebook post that the biker who claimed to be an NBI employee punched the man who was delivering bread after the latter allegedly overtook him.

“Naay driver nga nag deliver ug pan (Julies Bakeshop) gisumbag ug kalit sa dalan kay gi-overtake kan daw syas nag deliver sa pan sa may Mandaue Foam pero gisumbag siya sa may Chowking dapit. Makita sa video giingnan pod niya ang driver ‘Sige, sukol ka. NBI raba ko,’” stated the Facebook post, which already has 6,900 shares and 865 comments as of 11:38 a.m.
