IMMEDIATE family members of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) residing in Davao City will now be prioritized in the mobile vaccination of the Davao City government.

Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio said on Monday, August 23, 2021, the Covid-19 vaccination express lane was already expanded to family members who are qualified to the Priority Group A.

"Nag-expand napud sila (They expanded it) from OFWs to immediate families of OFWs nga nasulod sa (covered under) A1 to A5," Duterte-Carpio said in an interview on 87.5 FM Davao City Disaster Radio.

This comes days after the city opened the 10-day Covid-19 vaccination express lane for 5,000 departing and returning or repatriated migrant workers from August 18 to September 2, 2021.

The express lane, which will be at the Matina Town Square (MTS) Compound, Matina, aims to fast-track the vaccination of OFWs.

Marino Partylist, one of the organizers of the vaccination, said the immediate family includes parents, spouses, children, and siblings. They must be 18 years old and above.

Vaccinees must bring proof that they are an immediate family member of an OFW, including OFW's seaman's book, Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC), and other pertinent documents showing that they have the same last names.

To register, immediate family must register at https://bit.ly/3gnO0Xk, while for land-based and sea-based OFWs they must go to https://bit.ly/382WFd5. They have to wait for a confirmation text. Afterward, they need to go to the scheduled date of your vaccination.

Organizers said backpacks are not allowed inside. Walk-ins are also not allowed.
