Active Covid-19 cases in Minalin double in just 1 week

THE number of active coronavirus disease (Covid-19) cases in Minalin, Pampanga doubled in just a week's time.

As of August 21, the number of active Covid-19 cases in town was at 65, which was twice more than the 28 active cases reported on August 14.

The rural health unit reported that most of the cases reported were caused by household transmission as several members of families were testing positive for the virus.

At present, the total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in the town was 525, in which 425 were already tagged as recovered and 35 were mortalities.
