Covid-19 recoveries in Cagayan de Oro City now at 12,525

THE total number of people who have recovered from the coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in Cagayan de Oro City reached 12,525 after 100 residents were tagged as recovered.

The City Health Office also recorded 156 new Covid-19 cases, one of which is a returning overseas Filipino worker (ROF) and 155 are local cases.

This brought the cumulative number of confirmed infections to 15,525.

Of the 155 new local cases, 105 were local index cases, 32 were close contacts of previously confirmed cases, nine were local authorized persons outside residence (Apors), five were Apors with link, and four mortalities.

Cagayan de Oro City logged 3,266 active cases, 872 of whom were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, and 2,394 were outpatients.

The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city was now at 701.

Meanwhile, the total number of coronavirus-positive vaccinated individuals in Cagayan de Oro was now at 3,195, the City Health Office reported.

According to the City Health Office, of the 3,195 vaccinees, 2,000 were vaccinated with Sinovac vaccine, 610 were vaccinated with AstraZeneca, 220 with Pfizer, 181 with Sputnik V, 177 with Janssen, three with Sinopharm, and four Moderna.

Of the 2,000 Covid-positive Sinovac vaccinees, 1,558 individuals were experiencing mild symptoms, 310 were asymptomatic, 125 were moderate cases, and seven were severe cases.

Among the 610 AstraZeneca vaccinees, 449 individuals had mild symptoms, 117 were asymptomatic, 41 had moderate symptoms, and three were severe cases.
