OUR world has become filled with low resolution thinkers eager to jump on the general collective tribe, failing to fully utilize their God-given cognitive faculties. Relativism has worsened in our generation and there is rapid intellectual decline. Many are quick to act on impulses and emotional triggers without getting a grasp of the full picture looking into matters objectively.
There is an abandonment of values and foundations which would ideally shape human flourishing. As there are rapid advancements and developments in technology, social media, and all other aspects, it is inevitable that the world has become much smaller and much more fast-paced.
But this has been met with various repercussions, disinformation, mistruths, and a great deal of falsehoods that could further inflict damage to gullible figures. In order to be able to truly think, one must have a backbone and risk being offensive. However, there are some who simply cannot take such encounters and would rather revert to outbursts and personal attacks creating ugly and meaningless friction.
These uncomfortable debates and discourses must be faced head-on without preconceived notions and presumptions. Seeking what is real and true is cumbersome, but would entail a great deal of wisdom, stamina, and effort that would seize any form of false camaraderie. It is essential to dig deep into the root than to tiptoe and comply with surface customaries. As humans, we have an inclination to act on our carnal impulses and emotions instead of actually knowing much better. Perhaps, we are flawed in many facets.
There is a grave threat of falling on a misguided path. One can easily become dogmatized, institutionalized, brainwashed by a leftist, escapist, or dangerous ideology that shatters all notions of proper and noble values and moral foundations that contribute to one's ideal development.
We cannot afford to let our future generation become whiny, emotional, selfish, entitled, feelings-driven human beings who disregard any notion of accountability. We have our civil rights and our freedom to think for ourselves guided by a sense of objectivity and moral duty to act on a broader scope that greatly impacts many lives we come across. But there is a point where we draw a line, a point in which we simply cannot go beyond.
But it has become highly unfortunate that we have become equipped with virtue signaling and self-righteous members in our society who constantly project and live up to a fickle external facade and illusion to pass off as contributing citizens. It is dangerously unintellectual to assume without basis, to conclude without facts. It is idiotic to bark erratically without a thorough understanding, and what is ironic is how such drastic behaviors merely add to the divisiveness and clashes that add to the degradation of our humanity as a whole.
Too much hypocrisy and pretensions are prevalent in our world. Sincerity and authenticity have become absolutely watered down. We have seen a rapid degeneration in our culture and way of life given the many easily triggered and entitled persons that dominate our community.
Healthy and objective discourse has become nearly impossible. These days, people get into exchanges to win, rather than to listen and engage in substantive discourse in allowing the truth to simply play out and prevail. There is a failure to get a full grasp of the bigger picture and instead revert to petty shallow reactivities to feel a sense of relief and false belongingness.
Instead of seeking out a quest for truth and progress. Truth has become subjective and relative. It has become vastly dependent on flimsy opinions and riding on the mainstream narrative perhaps also out of fear of being shunned. If any mode of development should occur, sound disagreements and exchanges need to take place to embark on a quest for meaningful discoveries. Sadly, the quicker fix is to be enslaved by nodding along with the herd.
One must discern and think for themselves in a deep, honest, and intellectual manner to arrive solely at the absolute truth. The foolish and lazy thing would be to surrender blindly and obliviously to what the majority or popular opinion dictates. As human beings, we have a greater potential to be so much more than mere tools and puppets who comply blindly with the larger surrounding forces.
There is definitely much uncertainty in the world and answers will always be limited, but if we were to fully utilize our resources with pure intentions without any agenda or bias we can mature and lead ourselves closer to real freedom and absolute truth.
While our existence is broad and complex, and we differ in many aspects due to our individualities and uniqueness, we must refrain from remaining in a pathetic paradigm of stagnancy. As aiming creatures, it is a moral obligation to seek what is true, right, and just even if it may entail challenges and difficulties.
