THE City Government of San Fernando distributed another set of “Negosyo Packages” composed of household and cleaning liquids to Fernandinos on August 25, 2021.
Vice Mayor Jimmy Lazatin and Aileen Villanueva, City Social Welfare and Development officer, led the granting of items that included 7,000 liters of hand soaps, fabric conditioners, dishwashing liquids and liquid detergents. The bottles will be distributed to 10 groups that have five members each.
As these were under the social and economic recovery and rehabilitation program of the City, the items will be sold by the beneficiaries within their communities and the earnings will directly go to them as their means of livelihood.
Some sectors that benefited from the project were solo parents, Kalipunan Ng Mga Liping Pilipina, San Fernando women’s groups, urban poor families, local members of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program, and persons with disabilities. (PR)
