WORLDWIDE, there is again talk that the Warning, prophesied in many Marian apparitions over the centuries, will happen anytime.
In 1980, when seer Mari Loli of the Garabandal, Spain apparitions (which no less than contemporary St. Padre Pio believed in) was asked when the Warning would happen, she replied it would occur when “the communists have gained power in the whole world and it will make it very difficult to practice religion, for the priests to say Mass, and for Church doors to be open.”
Doesn’t that scenario now seem to be with us? The exercise of religion, the holding of social and other such events and even personal behaviors have come under control worldwide. Censorship of media, including the internet, has become so pervasive that any comment even by the most respected immunologists against coronavirus vaccines are being obliterated. Even without assurance of long-term safety, vaccines are now being made mandatory in exchange for some freedom, including the capacity to buy and sell.
And it’s getting more stifling. It’s the ugly head of communism surfacing.
To review: the Warning was one of the three major prophecies made by the Blessed Virgin Mary in her apparitions to four girls, including Mari Loli in Garabandal in the 1960s. It was the first to occur, to be followed by the Great Miracle and the conditional Chastisement.
The website afterthewarning.com describes the Warning thus: “an Illumination of Conscience or Correction of Conscience. That is, God will intervene into every person's life, on earth, all at the same time. Each person on earth will see their sins of their entire lifetime. It will be devastating to some people. Others will see it as a sign of hope for the world.”
Mari Loli went to her eternity on April 20, 2009, after some prolonged illness. I believe she had been a “victim soul” who offered her sufferings for the salvation of others. She is survived by the three other visionaries, now all in their senior years, and it is believed they would still be alive in time for the Warning and even the Great Miracle.
Before her death, however, Mari Loli had been interviewed several times about the Warning. I am sharing of these interviews, done in 1980, as follows:
Q: Do you remember what the Most Holy Virgin told you about the communist tribulation that will precede the Warning?
Mari Loli (ML): It will seem that the communists have gained power in the whole world and it will make it very difficult to practice religion, for the priests to say Mass, and for Church doors to be open.
Q: Is this what you mean when you say the Church will disappear?
ML: Yes.
Q: Will it be because of the religious persecutions and not because of the people stopping the practice of their religion?
ML: Yes, but I suppose many people will stop practicing religion. Those who do practice the faith will have to do it secretly.
Q: Will this only occur in Europe, or will it happen in other continents as well?
ML: I don’t know because, at the time, Europe was my whole world. I think that it was like that. The Most Holy Virgin did not specify a place. It seems to me that it will be in all parts.
Q: Today, communism dominates part of the planet. Do you think the situation will be worse than it is now?
ML: This is what I believe, based on the words of the Virgin, but I don’t know the exact reality. It seemed to me that it was in all of the countries of the world, the places which I saw mentally. In many European countries, you can still practice your religion.
Q: Then, the world situation is not yet bad enough for the Warning to happen?
ML: It is not going to happen yet because it is probable that things will get worse.
Q: You said that it would be very difficult for the priests to say Mass. Did the Most Holy Virgin tell you this, or is that something you think yourself because of the prophesized communist tribulation?
ML: According to what I remember, the Virgin told me.
Q: And did the Virgin tell you that it would seem like the Church had disappeared?
ML: Yes.
Q: Did the Most Holy Virgin say that the Holy Father would feel obligated to leave Rome when the Warning happens?
ML: No, but what it appeared to me, although at that moment I might have confused in my head what I saw and what the Holy Mother said because so many years have passed, was that the Pope could not openly remain in Rome, do you understand? They will persecute him too and he will have to hide like all the rest.
Q: You said that when the Warning arrives, the planes will stop in the air and all motor vehicles will stop as well. Did the Holy Mother tell you this?
ML: She said that everything everywhere would stop for a moment and that everyone would think, and we would see ourselves interiorly.
Q: Will there be noises that accompany the Warning, for example, like the wind whistling?
ML: As I recall, it was more like an enormous silence, like a sensation of emptiness. Everything was very silent. This is how I saw it.
ML: Seven years ago you said that the Warning would arrive soon. Many people thought that it would occur by this date. What do you say today?
ML: It is soon. Everything seems soon to me because time passes very quickly.
Q: You are the only person who knows the year of the Warning. Did you tell it to anyone at any point, a priest for example?
ML: NO.
Q: Will the world be at war when the Warning arrives?
ML: (No response). (End of interview)
The suspicion that all prophecies of the apocalyptic variety would come to a head in our days is corroborated by the explosion of Marian apparitions and other mystic events as never before. Indeed, the messages from recent apparitions are quite explicit about this.
I am sharing one such message of the Blessed mother to mystic Valeria Copponi on August 18, 2021 as follows:
“My little children, I, your Mother, was raised to Heaven with all my angels; I take care of you beside My Son and will rescue you from all evil that will present itself to you, increasingly often. My children, you know full well that these times through which you are living will be [your] last on earth and that the Evil One is conquering many souls that are distant from God. You, however, should not fear, as every adversity that will come your way will be mitigated by our presence with each one of you.
“Fight with open and sincere hearts; you will have the final victory, the most important one for your eternal salvation. You will not have to struggle in order to win the world but in order to return to your Father’s House, the holy dwelling.
“Continue praying without ceasing and not even the Devil will be able to win against you. I, who am your Mother, will fight against your enemy until the last one of you overcomes the greatest obstacle, meaning final temptation. Always seek the truth; do not betray the law of God out of convenience or in order be among the strongest on earth, as the Divine laws will have no losers, only winners.
“Pious souls, continue on your way, always and only obeying Jesus the Christ, Son of God. Surrender with joy to your heavenly parents and you will not be disappointed. I love you and will console you at every difficult moment that you will have to face; pray for the consecrated so that they would not fall short of their vows. Pray for your non-believing brothers and sisters, helping them, standing by them in times of difficulty.”
