A CONSTRUCTION worker was stabbed and killed on Medalya Street, Greensville Subdivision, Barangay Villamonte, Bacolod City Friday evening, August 27, 2021.
Police identified the fatality as Danilo Rogero, 43, of Purok Bayanihan, Barangay Villamonte.
Police records showed the victim sustained multiple stab wounds and died on the spot.
Investigation showed the victim was walking along Medalya Street when an unidentified assailant attacked him using a bladed weapon around 7:50 p.m.
The police said the victim tried to run, but he fell on the road because of stab wounds on different parts of his body.
The police are eyeing personal grudge as a possible motive in the killing of the victim.
Investigators of Police Station 4 are still conducting a thorough investigation to determine the identity of the perpetrator and to file the charges against him.
