Call me Eva. I am anxious about Covid-19 and I have some issues about this virus, which I want to clarify. First, is it true that vitamin and mineral supplements like vitamin C and Zinc can cure Covid-19? Second, if I drink warm water, can I rinse the virus from my throat? Third, if I rinse my throat and my nose with saline water, can I rinse the virus as well? Fourth, if I have allergies to food and drugs, can I still get the vaccine? Fifth, is it true that these Covid vaccines don’t work with the new strains? Or would these vaccines make me get Covid-19?

And now for your queries, let me get to them one by one.
First, these Vitamins D and C and the mineral Zinc can really boost your immune system and help you ward off any viruses, especially if you lack them. But, sad to say, there is no evidence that these vitamins and minerals are a cure or treatment for Covid-19, especially if you have already been hit with these viruses.
Second, water may be very important to anyone’s health. But, there is no current evidence that drinking warm water can rinse the virus from your throat and can protect you against Covid-19. It can, however, soothe your dry throat, especially if you have a cough. And of course, don’t forget to wash your hands with water, it is a better strategy to help you fend off these nasty viruses.
