P400,000 shabu seized in San Fernando

THE City of San Fernando Police Station arrested two drug suspects categorized as high-value targets and confiscated P408,000 worth of substance believed to be shabu.

City Chief of Police Lieutenant Colonel John Clark said the suspects, Princess Serenio and Genisis Aromin, both from Bicutan in Taguig City, were arrested by operatives on August 26 in Barangay San Jose.

Joint elements conducted an anti-illegal drug operation at the barangay, resulting in the arrest of the suspects.

Confiscated from the suspects were three heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, the marked money used in the buy-bust, and one Toyota Vios, among others.

Police reports said the shabu has an approximate weight of more or less one 60 grams with estimated street value of P408,000.

Reports said the suspects are possibly involved in the proliferation of illegal drugs in Barangays San Jose and nearby barangays in the City of San Fernando.

The arrested suspects are now detained at City of San Fernando Police Station, while the illegal drugs will be brought to the Police Crime Laboratory for examination. Charges are now being filed against the suspects.
