Chinese nabbed for 'molesting' employee

A 36-YEAR-OLD foreign national was arrested by Pampanga police during a manhunt operation launched in Mexico town recently.

Police Regional Office (PRO)-Central Luzon Director Brigadier General Valeriano De Leon identified the arrested individual as Yanlong Xu y Chen, Chinese national, a resident of Barangay Panipuan, Mexico.

The suspect was arrested by virtue of warrant of arrest for four counts of acts of lasciviousness issued by Mexico-San Luis Municipal Circuit Trial Court Presiding Judge Richard Gazzingan Evangelista on August 23.

The case stemmed from alleged incidents committed by the suspect, who was then a contractor of a certain construction company, to his 33-year-old former lady employee that transpired on July 13 and 17, and July 2 and 3, 2021.

The Chinese national was put under the custody of police while awaiting further directives from the court.
