Helpful adulting apps

AS A millennial who grew up seeing apps as a convenient help in going about our day-to-day activities, I found that apps are also very helpful in completing and navigating through adulting. The apps in my phone are organized in different clusters: Health, Finances, Social Media, Delivery Apps, WFH Essential, and Entertainment. I’m in my late 20s now and as the years go by, I understand more deeply my adulting priorities and how to work around them smartly without having to sacrifice other things on the priority list.

Here are just some of the apps I’ve been using for years now that has helped a lot in figuring out how ‘to adult’:

1. Flo (Health)

An app-based period tracker that provides articles, videos, and podcasts on women’s health, diet, relationships, etc.

It’s also a good medium to update your menstrual cycle. Should there be any problem or irregularities, the reports made can actually be shown to your gynecologist for proper diagnosis.

2. Women Workout at Home - Female Fitness (Health)

I think the best part about this app is how simple the routines and exercises are. The exercise options are also specific for body parts that you might need to work hard on like the thighs, butt, abdomen, arms, etc.

3. Mindfulness with Petit BamBou (Health)

This app contains guided mindfulness meditation for sleep, stress relief, and meditation. It has options to choose from and is especially friendly to those who are just starting to meditate.

4. GCash (Finances)

An e-wallet app that has options to help you save, shop, send money, pay bills, invest, get insurance, and much more. Especially because it is pandemic and there are still movement restrictions, e-wallet transactions are really convenient.

5. 1Money - Expense Tracker, Money Manager, Budget (Finances)

I just started using this app but basically it promises to be helpful in keeping track of your expenses upon proper recording and monitoring. It also allows you to quickly budget your income even if coming from different sources. The app functions like a personal finance manager.
