THE Iloilo City Government announced that all practicing doctors may now issue referral or request slips for swabbing at the Jubilee Hall’s City Molecular Laboratory for their patients who are Covid-19 suspects and close contacts of confirmed cases.
“We advise that practicing doctors may prepare a referral for their patients who are symptomatic and are close contacts of positive patients for swabs,” Mayor Jerry Treñas said.
He added that testing and contact tracing can identify and isolate immediately the index cases and those with exposure to slow down the spread of the virus.
Residents are also advised to report to their respective barangays if they are experiencing symptoms of Covid-19. (PR)
