It’s a month-long celebration!

With the theme “REV Up: REVive: REVisit: REVolutionize,” the Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) calls on local industries to rev-up efforts in reopening businesses through its Mandaue Business Month 2021 (MBM).

The celebration will focus on helping companies adapt and prepare for the new business climate by conducting online learning sessions and community-engaging activities.

MCCI vice president for internal affairs and KGK Management Inc. general manager Kelie Ko is the MBM 2021 chairman, while San Remigio Beach Club general manager Mark Anthony Ynoc sits as co-chairman.

As a way of contributing to the revival of our economy, MCCI, through its partnership with the Cebu Provincial Government and the Department of Trade and Industry, is organizing a Sugbo Negosyo Exhibit to feature products of the top Sugbo Negosyo beneficiaries. This event is chaired by Contempo Property Holdings Inc. chief executive officer and president Beverly Dayanan and co-chaired by Purple Chalk Phils. managing director Mae Anne Yee.

MCCI’s new series dubbed “MCCI Kamustahan” with chairperson Marvey Alcantara, general manager of Multimax Foam Industries (Uratex), will feature inspiring MCCI members who will share how they evolved their businesses during the rampant pandemic, through adaptability and sharp business strategies. This event is co-chaired by Josiah Caare, chief operating officer of Purple Chalk Phils.

To revisit and appreciate Cebu culture, MCCI launched the #SugbuanonKo Tiktok Challenge to promote Cebu Province by tapping on the locals to transform their experiences into relatable content through social media platform TIktok.

Participants should feature purely Sugbuanon landmarks, food, products, culture and traditions. MDF Productions creative director Margo Frasco and Viva Communications Inc. area business development head Zevie Marquez, will cover the event as chairperson and co-chair, respectively.

To help revolutionize strategies and practices in the business community, MCCI is organizing the yearly MCCI Business Summit and other business seminars under the “Mandaue Talks Business” series. As an MBM staple program, the Business Summit will run as a virtual event where top caliber speakers will share their expertise in new ideas, and business paradigms and corporate excellence in the local and global landscape. This portion is chaired by San Remigio Beach Club general manager Ynoc, and co-chaired by Virginia Food Inc. vice president- sales and marketing Stanley Go.

Moving toward economic recovery from the pandemic, MCCI is providing accessible, informative and enriching webinars under “Mandaue Talks Business” where experts can provide seminars and updates, as well as workshops for members and interested parties. The series is chaired by San Miguel Brewery communications officer Girlie Garces and co-chaired by Michelle Co-Lin, CTBC Bank RBG VisMin business center head.

Another event to look forward to during MBM 2021 is the ceremonial turnover of Bicycle Repair Stations to the Mandaue City Local Government, a tripartite project between Mandaue City, MCCI and Vivant Foundation.

For more details/inquiries, one may call/connect with MCCI through Tel. Nos. (032) 343-3491 and (032) 236-8245.
