'Wash' campaign launched in Camp Olivas

THE Philippine National Police Officers' Ladies Club (PNP-OLC), in partnership with the Manila Water Foundation, recently launched a hygiene campaign at the Police Regional Office (PRO)-Central Luzon headquarters in Camp Olivas.

The campaign, dubbed as” Sabi ni Nay Maghugas ng Kamay: Lingap Kapulisan,” aims to protect the police force and their communities against communicable diseases such as Covid-19 through Water Access, Sanitation, and Hygiene (Wash).

PNP-OLC Adviser and PNP Chief Director General Guillermo Eleazar's wife Rosalie led the launching of the program that included the inauguration of multi-faucet hygiene facility inside the police camp.

PRO-Central Luzon Director Brigadier General Valeriano De Leon said the project is part of their long-standing partnership with PNP-OLC.

"This will surely be beneficial not just to the men and women of PRO-Central Luzon but also to visitors entering the camp especially this time of pandemic wherein the best weapons we have aside from the vaccines, are proper hygiene and discipline," he said.
