Oro City Health: Unvaccinated people 17x more likely to be hospitalized

"If unvaccinated kayo, 17 times more likely na ma-hospitalize kayo due to Covid-19," City Health Office medical officer Dr. Ted Yu said.

"We really emphasize to people, kung nasa turn nyo na or senior citizen with comorbidities, have yourself vaccinated para at least less likely mapunta tayo sa hospital and we will have hindi mga critical or severe type of symptoms," he added.

According to Yu, the causes of death of those who were vaccinated mortalities were not related to the Covid-19 vaccine.

"That's why we emphasize the need for early consultation. Kung nasa bahay kayo, may mga naramdaman kayo, please if you can consult the doctor, avail of our telekonsulta services para hindi sa huling minuto na saka na pupunta ng hospital," Yu said.
