THE anti-coronavirus pandemic has spawned some kind of idolatry. To some extent, faith in Jesus Christ has been overtaken by faith in vaccines, especially the Western ones, and people who are now being referred to as anti-vaxxers (even if they simply don't want themselves vaccinated) have become blasphemers if they say but a word to disparage any vaccine being hailed as messiah promising a return to "normal" times, the way we were. It is not unimaginable that genuflection would be required before a vaccine vial.
A Philippine doctor has even aped someone in the West by coming out with a statement comparing those who oppose coronavirus vaccines to terrorists who are out to maim and murder. In many countries, vaccinations have become mandatory. This, amid the advancement of proposals to cocoon the unvaccinated: bar them from airplanes, malls, restaurants, supermarts, parks, etc. It will not be a surprise if someone succeeds in a proposal to flay and flog the unjabbed.
All these, however, are in the prophecies that have been mounting in recent years. This column has been an attempt to spread such prophecies, never before so precise in details and as precise in their unfolding. For example, way back in 2010, the coronavirus pandemic came as a warning in a message of the Blessed Mother to Luz de Maria de Bonilla and other credible mystics. Even before the first proposal for vaccine passports was made, Jesus Christ had warned that a day would come when travel would be restricted. When the pandemic waned in some Western countries, St. Michael descended from his abode to warn the world that the devil would succeed in pushing for more pandemic waves and then the Delta variant emerged.
The signs of the times are with us and they are multifarious. A few take time to pause and contemplate the messages of Heaven as being given to credible Catholic mystics, but most remain in a struggle to survive and assert hope that, given the vaccines, a return to old ways would eventually come.
But we are in the end times (again, let me cite the assertion of mystics that the end of the world is NOT yet). I have shared in this space many articles quoting mystics that we are at the end of an era where we are to face the Marian prophecies in Garabandal, Spain in the 1960s: the Warning, the Miracle and the Chastisement.
Or why would the Blessed Mother identify herself recently as Our Lady of the End Times? Wouldn't this be more than enough to convince us and put credence to what the mystics have also been telling us so explicitly?
Our Lady of the End Times identified herself to Filipino painter and Marian devotee Niño Emmanuel “Edsol” Celestial of Bacolod City in a vivid dream that he had four times. From thereon, he had been receiving messages from the Blessed Mother pertaining to our times.
I believe Edsol, if only (but not solely) because his painting of the Blessed Mother whom he saw in his dream, was recognized by San Carlos Bishop Gerardo Alminaza who, together with Edsol, even flew to the Vatican to gift Pope Francis of Edsel's painting of Our Lady of the End Times on May 27, 2019.
Edsol's painting, inspired by what he saw in his dreams, was the Blessed Mother combining her seven popular titles, including the Immaculate Concepcion, Our Lady of Mount Carmel, Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, Our Lady of Lourdes, Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal, the Immaculate Heart of Mary, and Mary Help of Christians. This is portentous, as it would seem to imply a serious emergency as if all spiritual medications have been summoned for an illness that could be terminal
Let me share some of the dated messages of the Blessed Mother to Edsol. These messages got an imprimatur from Most Reverend Gerardo Alminaza, DD, of the diocese of San Carlos where Edsol's mystical experiences are now being investigated more thoroughly by the diocese of Bacolod.
Take note that the messages were given before the eruption of Taal Volcano and the coronavirus pandemic. These were initially published in SunStar.
September 1, 2018: "My children, I bring a message to all of you in my divine son’s Name. God has waited and warned, generation after generation, to see if His children will change since my visitations at La Salette, France, and Fatima. But, sadly, heaven’s cries for conversion and repentance have gone unheeded.
"The time of my son’s coming is near. Turn away from your sins, my children. Come to my divine son who awaits you. He shed his blood for mankind, and His mercy still waits for His prodigal children. Before the door of His mercy will be closed and replaced by His justice.
"When His justice comes, pray for strength. God is about to chastise the world in a huge manifestation of divine wrath, far worse than the earthquake in New Zealand, the tsunami in Japan, China. In your country, you will be surprised by a volcanic eruption. In other parts of the world, many lives will be lost because of the disease that will shock the world. God needs to send natural chastisements to bring you to your senses, but no one responds to the calling of true conversion and repentance.
"Pray, my children, especially the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, the Rosary, and the Chaplet of the Divine Mercy. Wear the scapular and many sacramentals offered to you.
"I bless you all, my children. This event is very near. In the Name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen."
December 30, 2018: "Pray, my children, pray from your heart, for much will change for the earth very soon. Tsunamis, earthquakes, tidal waves will lash the land, the earth will split, volcanic eruption, leaving people homeless. My children, pray from your heart because the warning will soon be upon all of you. Watch and be vigilant.
"My children, I do not say these dreadful things to frighten all of you, but so that all of you will know these events are very near. Next year will be a year of heavy trials for mankind as seven years of desolation are near.
"Go to confession, attend mass daily, receive Jesus in communion, pray the Holy Rosary and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy from your heart. These two prayers are very important in these times.
"As your mother, I love you all. Just look at my portrait, it will bring consolation. I will send many angels to protect all of you from the power of the evil one. My children, great changes are coming to the world. Unless all of you are protected by the seraphic angels, the evil one can touch all of you. Pray to the seraphic angels as they hold great power over men.
"I love you, my children. I bless you in the Name of the Father, and of Son, and of the Holy Spirit."
January 5, 2019: "My children, 2019 begins, a year of great trials and great wonders to expect. The seven great angels standing at the threshold of heaven and earth, waiting for the command from my son: to release the seven capital punishments on earth. My son is ready now! For men have blocked their ears and their hearts to do the will of God."
